My challenge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is to maintain and increase the strength of the Kingsbridge Private Hospital brand in the North West region and to work with staff here at the hospital to continuously maintain the high standards we have set and which have been reflected in our international standard of accreditation.
We are recognised by all the major Insurance companies, both new and established and very much aim to remain an accessible and affordable option to patients.

My key role is to provide leadership to the nursing staff in the hospital and to work with the CEO and Medical Director to continue to improve the facilities and services which are at Kingsbridge Private Hospital
Myself and the other nursing staff work extremely hard to maintain the high standards of care which the hospital has become renowned for.
My role is to provide leadership on all matters relating to Medicines Management in the hospital. Medicines Management encompasses all the systems and processes used to provide medicines to patients.
I work closely with staff in all departments to develop policies and procedures which ensure that these systems and processes are safe and effective; that they comply with current legislation, adhere to National guidance, and minimise the risks to patients and staff arising from the use of medicines.
As Accreditation & Quality Manager my role involves supporting all staff and departments in our commitment to the delivery of a quality service to all our patients in an environment of optimal patient safety. The achievement and renewal of JCI Hospital Accreditation demonstrates our dedication and focus on patient safety and continuous improvement in patient care standards.
Key activities of our Quality System include choosing and monitoring our annual Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), identifying priority focuses for the year, reviewing patient feedback, introduction of new and revised clinical protocols, policies, procedures and benchmarking how we compare to National and International standards when available. We have full Hospital Accreditation until May 2018.
The infection control process is hugely important at every level here at Kingsbridge Private Hospital. It’s a vital component of the accreditation process for JCI International and its importance is reinforced here on a continual basis.
A comprehensive infection control programme is in place here at the hospital, with protocols constantly reviewed and adapted to adhere to national and international best practice guidelines.
Una Browne is the Theatre Manager at Kingsbridge Private Hospital. Her role as Theatre Manager is to co-ordinate operating lists for the various consultants across their respective disciplines.
Operations are performed to the very highest standard within the scope of the surgical procedures that can be provided here at the hospital. Everything is done to a baseline of consistently high standards.
As the Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Manager it is my role to effectively run the unit alongside the consultants and nursing colleagues. The entire service is consultant led and this gives a great deal of reassurance to the patient, in addition to the warm, personal atmosphere at the hospital.
All the technology in our Endoscopy Unit has been purchased very recently and is the most modern available on the market. This, coupled with the staff we have makes for a very strong service.
