Dr. Lane entered the specialist register in Anaesthesia having completed Irish higher specialist training in Anaesthesia, Pain Medicine and Intensive Care.
Following on from this he completed a Fellowship in Chronic Pain in McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario. While there he gained further training and experience in management of chronic pain conditions using interventional as well as medical techniques. Dr. Lane also worked in Buffalo, New York with Professor Romanth Waghmarae who specialises in advanced interventional pain management and neuro-modulation techniques.
